Our business is closely linked to the environment in almost everything we do. We abstract millions of litres of water every day from rivers and groundwater to treat for public water supply. The Vale Housing Association is a non-profit making organisation, committed to providing quality housing at affordable rents. We provide homes for around 5,000 tenants. The number of homes we own would be a lot smaller if we had not built and bought more properties. We still own one in ten of all the homes in the Vale of White Horse and are one of the ten largest businesses in the District. We have a staff of 167 people and carried out 24,348 repairs last year. Established in 1995, the National Primary Head Teachers' Association is a not-for-profit organisation linking primary Headteachers across the UK with the aim of improving primary education.
